Velles Counseling Services LLC. provides counseling to children and adults, as well as consulting for various organizations.  Additionally, we currently have an intern who will be both observing sessions and conducting them (we will discuss your openness to either before she is present).

 

I understand the difficulties that someone may see as barriers to treatment and encourage you to reach out. Additionally, anyone who has found it difficult to seek help for ANY concern is welcome here and encouraged to reach out.  Services here are non-judgmental regardless of race, sex, gender, identity, orientation, or other facets of being.  Your sessions are private (with exceptions about safety) and safe.

If you call, it is unlikely that anyone will answer, as we (Dr. Elliott and his intern) are in session most of the day.  Email is perfectly fine way to reach out if you are comfortable.  Either way, you can share what you are looking for, the insurance that you have (if any), and the best way to get back to you.

​​IMPORTANT: Prior to your first session, it is very important that you have submitted your paperwork (the files below), including your insurance card and a card on file - this is in case of no call/no shows, which will result in a $125 charge.  You are more than welcome to call to reschedule, but it is important that this happens no less than 24 hours before your session, so I can try to fill the time slot with another patient.  I try to keep a very flexible cancellation policy but some people still do not show and it is not fair to myself or others.

Please note - this practice no longer takes on clients who are court-ordered in any way to attend therapy.  This has been a very troubling and time-consuming process, and frankly I'm troubled by how the courts and legal professionals tend to abuse this process.
